Write for us
Lasting Community welcomes pitches that offer a fresh, well-defined look at how groups keep shared knowledge, participation and responsibilities moving between people.
What to pitch
We are interested in clear explainers, comparisons, histories, myth-checks and occasion-specific pieces about community continuity. A strong pitch identifies its reader, central question and distinct takeaway, and explains why the subject belongs in one of our sections.
What makes a good proposal
Keep the idea focused enough for one article. Say what readers will understand or be able to consider afterward, note the sources or experience the piece would draw on, and flag any uncertainty or limits. We value precise, lively writing over broad claims or generic calls for community spirit.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication; please do not send confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.
Continuity is something people make together.
A group lasts not by staying unchanged, but by making its knowledge and welcome possible for the next person.
