Editorial policy
Lasting Community aims to publish clear, careful writing about the ways groups sustain shared work and belonging. We distinguish explanation from opinion and make the limits of a piece clear.
Accuracy and care
We check factual statements against suitable sources when a piece depends on them, and avoid presenting a suggestion as a universal rule. We do not claim that an approach will work for every group. Where a subject depends on professional, official or local requirements, we do not substitute editorial discussion for checking those requirements.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made for reader relevance, not as a promise of favourable coverage. Paid or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee editorial endorsement.
Corrections
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review correction requests, amend material when warranted and make significant corrections clear to readers.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are not evidence for factual claims, and any image that could mislead readers about a real person or event is treated with particular care.
Continuity is something people make together.
A group lasts not by staying unchanged, but by making its knowledge and welcome possible for the next person.
